The Beaver Area Heritage Foundation recognizes the importance of preserving the history of the Beaver Area. The Foundation has established the Harry S. Phillips Restoration and Beautification Award. This award has been presented for many years to individual in the Beaver Area for the completion of an outstanding restoration project to a private home or building that was built prior to 1945. The Foundation hopes to inspire others to be good stewards of older homes and buildings.
