Crockpot Hot Chocolate

Everyone loves a delicious cup of hot chocolate. This recipe is easy to make, fun to do with the kiddos, and tastes so great that you’ll be upset you didn’t make it sooner!

 

Ingredients:

  • 6 Cups Whole Milk
  • 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • Mini Marshmallows

Directions:

  1. Mix all ingredients in a 6-quart crock pot.
  2. Cover and cook on low for approx. 2 hours, stirring often during the first hour to make sure the chocolate doesn’t settle on the bottom and burn.
  3. Wait 30 minutes before serving, add marshmallows to the top.

Reindeer Rice Krispie Treats

So easy and so much fun. Kids can decorate their treats with any candy they want! If you really want to make it easy, get store bought Rice Krispie treats and have fun decorating them with icing, candy, pretzels, etc.

 

Ingredients:

  • 3 Tablespoons butter
  • 1 package (10oz) marshmallows or 4 cups mini marshmallows
  • 6 cups Rice Krispies

Directions:

  1. Melt butter over low heat in large saucepan
  2. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted.
  3. Remove from heat
  4. Add rice krispies and stir until well coated
  5. Push mixture into 13×9 pan coated with cooking spray. Mixture will be sticky, so use wax paper or spray a spatula with cooking spray.
  6. Let cool
  7. Cut into rectangles
  8. Decorate!!

Decorating:

  • Store bought icing
  • Various candies:
    • M&M’s for nose
    • Candy eyeballs
    • Sour candies
    • Let your kids pick!
