Children’s Programs
Adopt-A-Dino: In celebration of DINO-vember, you can adopt a dino at the Library. Find a dinosaur, fill out the adoption paper and take home your very own dinosaur!
PAWS for Reading: Readers from Pre-K to 5th grade are invited to register for a 15 minute time slot and practice reading aloud to a Certified Therapy Dog at the library in a relaxed and non-judgmental environment. Please call to register. Once registered, make every effort to attend or call the library to cancel.
Lego Club: For all ages. Every Friday from 3:00-4:30pm starting November 10th and running until December 29th. Back by popular depend, LEGO CLUB! Come let your imagination run free and build any creation you would like. We will even display it for the upcoming week in the library for everyone to enjoy.
Gingerbread Contest: Submissions will be accepted starting December 1st and due December 16th. Prizes awarded Dec. 20th to the top 3 submissions. THE RULES: Creations can be made of gingerbread, graham crackers or carboard. The rest of the materials are up to you! Be as creative and festive as you can! Literary designs are encouraged but not required. Designs must be no larger than 18inches long by 18inches wide. If you would like you submission back, please pick them up no later than December 22nd.
Holiday Storytime: Baby & Me November 13th and December 18th @10:30am geared for children 0-23 months and their caregivers
Toddler Storytime: November 15th and December 20th @10:30am geared for children 2-3 years and their caregivers
Preschool Storytime: November 16th and December 21st @10:30am geared for children 3-5 and their caregivers

Self-guided hour of crafting. For all ages and their caregivers. While supplies last.
Stuffed Animal Sleepover: Every weekend in January, you can drop off your favorite Stuffed Animal for a library sleepover. What shenanigans will they get into when the library closes? Drop off Friday before closing at 5PM. Pick up after Noon on Saturday.

Chess Club: Meets every 1st and third Thursday of every month at 6-8pm. No experience necessary, all level players welcome!
Game Night for Grown-ups: Every third Monday from 6-7:30, and every first Saturday at 1pm. Games Provided by the library, or you can bring your own.
Coming Soon: Teen Advisory Board- Want a say in the events happening at the library? Join the Teen Advisory Board, coming in 2024. Volunteer hours eligible for NHS members. Email sboyce@beaverlibraries.org if interested.
