Drug and Alcohol Services of Beaver Valley, Inc. (DASBV), was founded in 1979. It was created as a not-for-profit, outpatient treatment center in order to provide treatment to Beaver County residents; we are now entering our 40th year. Its mandate was, and is, to provide therapy, education and support to people who are having addiction issues but are not yet ill enough for inpatient treatment.

Over our extensive history we have watched as addiction trends evolve from being mostly alcohol and marijuana, to crack and finally opioids; but no matter the substance used our staff is trained to address the client’s treatment needs. For many years opioids have remained the most prevalent substance requiring therapeutic support. DASBV has diligently worked with our clients to provide the most up to date therapeutic methods for their recovery. Many opioid users now seek help through Medical Assisted Therapy and we gladly accept those patients as our clients.

To access help for yourself or a loved one, please call 724-728-8220.

Our treatment process begins with an evaluation which determines the best course of care. Should a person comes to us seeking inpatient treatment or detoxification, we will work with them to find admission to a treatment center. Should a person be seeking Medical Assisted Therapy, we will also work to find them a prescribing medical practice. For all others, therapy is provided at our location: 697 State Ave. Vanport, PA 15009.

We have evening sessions by appointment and most major insurances are accepted.
